The Connect a School projects is a joint partnership between The Creative Age, Akili Roho Institute, Fundzi Online Learning Academy and various stakeholders who have a vested interest in the education sector.
In order for education to have a lasting impact in any society, it’s citizens must become part of the learning process. We aim to integrate parents, teachers, unemployed youth, corporate organisations and government in solutions based education.
For any project to have meaningful impact, it has to be sustainable. Focusing on capacity building will make to project self-sustaining due to the impact it has to the local community and economy. Participants are encouraged to find other impactful areas to collaborate.
Our goal is to make schools the lifeblood of communities. Various projects plug into the Connect a School ecosystem enabling cross sector collaboration from various stakeholders enabling us to tackle the digital skills divide, youth unemployment and access to quality education.
Communities form the basic structures of any society. Healthy communities enables it’s various stakeholders to participate on all activities that happen in their immediate surroundings and are dependant on an educated and economically active citizenry.
We leverage the power of technology to gather insights and project specific data that enables us to mitigate risk and ensure that the project id running efficiently at all times.
Our volunteer network acts as a project support resource pool, providing much needed human capital, skills and cultural diversity within project team and clusters
Financial management is critical to the integrity and overall sustainability of the project. We aim to be fiscally sound at all times and therefore transparency is at the heart of our operations. All funds are deposited into a trust account managed by Knowles Husain Lindsay (KHL)
